I need to arrange transportation for a vehicle that will be traveling a long distance within the United States. I have been researching companies that offer nationwide service and came across Freedom Auto Transport during my search. Before making a booking, I wanted to ask people here about their experiences and what I should watch for.

For a normal family vehicle, would open car transport be the option most people recommend? I am not shipping anything unusual, so I am mainly looking for a service that can provide reasonable pricing while keeping the process straightforward.

One thing I want to confirm is nationwide availability. Does Freedom Auto Transport actually arrange pickups and deliveries across all states, or are there certain rural locations where customers may need to meet a carrier somewhere else? How flexible are they when it comes to pickup and delivery addresses?

I am also comparing open auto shipping with enclosed transportation. If the vehicle is a standard daily driver, is there any major reason to spend extra on enclosed service? I would rather keep costs reasonable if open transportation provides sufficient protection.

Another question concerns scheduling. How accurate are estimated delivery dates with open vehicle transport? If a carrier gets delayed because of weather, traffic, or another shipment, how well does the company communicate changes?

For anyone who has personally used Freedom Auto Transport, how was the overall experience from receiving the quote through final delivery? Did the carrier arrive within the expected pickup window?

I would especially like recommendations from people who have shipped vehicles between distant states and can share what made their experience good or frustrating.
