    Has anyone else had weird electrical gremlins after a battery change?

    I really thought swapping the battery on my XC60 would be straightforward, but ever since I did it, the lane keep assist acts like it’s having an existential crisis and the rear wiper has a mind of its own. A buddy who used to work on these said something about the car needing to be told it has a new battery, otherwise the charging system gets confused. That’s when I stumbled across some Volvo battery replacement specialists who apparently handle the reprogramming as part of the job. Honestly I just want my windows to auto-up again without playing a guessing game. Is this one of those things where a dealer is the only safe bet, or can a good independent shop with the right scanner sort it out without charging an arm and a leg?
