Give it a couple of days of regular driving before assuming anything more serious is happening.

That specific behavior under heat can point to a valve body issue rather than the clutches themselves which is a very different repair cost. A specialist who rebuilds mechatronic units rather than just swapping them will know the difference and won’t recommend the expensive option when the cheaper one is appropriate.

Parking sensors, large displays, climate systems all running at once adds up quickly. A lower capacity battery just wasn’t built to handle that kind of continuous demand.
